Thomas Family

We had such lovely November weather and stunning backlighting for this session! As a photographer you can't ask for much more. Oh yeah, other than a fun family, which the Thomas' definitely are. So basically the makings of a great session were all in place and I love how their pictures turned out! Their girls are so photogenic and have the most amazing blue eyes! Add in a little two year old sass for some excitement and this was such a fun session!

This little lady is not lacking in personality! She is a crack up!

The little miss wanted a pop tart. Her parents tried to convince her to eat a small, clean treat or snack, but no, it was a pop tart she wanted.  Little people really are the boss sometimes, not grown ups. :)

Lyman Family

I met this family as a referral from another photographer friend and it turns out we live in the same neighborhood, just one block apart but have never met each other. Small world! They were great to work with and Memory Grove's colors did not disappoint. I wish I lived closer to downtown Salt Lake so I could hang out there more often. It's seriously stunning! Especially in fall. I wish it could be fall all year long.

Alibrando Family

One of the best things about being a photographer is getting to see old friends and meeting new ones. I'm always so amazed as I get to know a family better during our shoot at the incredible stories I hear and things I learn about them. This family's sweet baby is already a cancer survivor at 11 months old! I can't even fathom one of my babies going through that. Anyway, he's a pretty sweet little guy and super easy going.  Knowing that about him just endears me to his sweet little smiles even more.

Knighton Family

I've known this wonderful family since we were newly married and their oldest was just a baby. Not only are they a great looking family but they are just as good inside too. Such a pleasure to take their pictures.  April has been cancer free for a year now and I'm loving her cute, short hairdo!  And how cute are these kiddos? Seriously!!!

Oh I love fall... I especially love fall up the canyon. Maybe one of the best parts of this job is getting to see God's beautiful creations and hang out with fun people at the same time.  I'm so lucky that my job doesn't feel like work, just fun and something that makes me happy at the same time like getting to see old friends.
